Pinned Resources
Pin any resource to the sidebar for one-click access - useful for the pods or deployments you check most often.
Pinning
Two ways to pin:
- In a resource list - right-click a row → Pin to Favourites (right-click → Unpin to remove)
- In a detail view - click the pin icon next to the close button in the header
Pinned items appear under a PINNED section at the top of the sidebar (only visible when at least one pin exists in the current cluster).
Cluster-scoped
Pins are scoped to the cluster they were created in - your production pins don’t pollute your staging sidebar. Switch contexts and you see that cluster’s pins.
Behaviour
- Single-click a pinned item - opens it in the detail panel
- Double-click - opens it in a dedicated window
- Right-click → Unpin - removes from the pin list
Auto-cleanup
When a pinned resource disappears from the cluster (deleted or excluded by namespace filter), Kubius removes the pin automatically - but only when it has confirmed visibility of the namespace (so a pinned pod in namespace B isn’t pruned while you’re scoped to namespace A).
Supported types
Currently pods, deployments, services, statefulsets, configmaps, secrets, namespaces, nodes, and PVCs can be pinned. Other types use the standard navigation flow.
