Connection & authentication
Kubius reads your existing kubeconfig on launch - there is nothing to set up. It speaks the Kubernetes REST API directly over native TLS, the same way kubectl does, without shelling out to it.
- Auto-discovers ~/.kube/config; contexts sorted alphabetically
- Cloud exec-auth plugins run in a login shell, so your PATH is preserved
- Google Cloud (GKE) - gke-gcloud-auth-plugin
- AWS (EKS) - aws eks get-token
- Azure (AKS) - kubelogin / az
- DigitalOcean (DOKS) - doctl
- Client certificates, bearer tokens, custom CA certs and insecure-skip-TLS all respected
- Exec-plugin tokens cached until expiry - not re-invoked on every request
- Reconnects to your last cluster on launch and restores namespace, sidebar and the resource you had open
Try it on your own clusters
