Questions, answered
Do I need Prometheus or Grafana?
No. The dashboard reads the standard Kubernetes metrics API (metrics-server), which most clusters already run. There's nothing to deploy and no dashboards to build - connect your kubeconfig and it's live.
How up to date is it?
Live. The dashboard is driven by the same watch streams as the rest of Kubius, so node pressure, crashes and rollouts appear the moment they happen - not on a manual refresh.
Does it work across multiple clusters?
Yes - any context in your kubeconfig gets the same one-screen overview. Better still, your section layout (what's shown and in what order) is saved per cluster, so each one opens arranged just the way you set it.
Does anything get installed in my cluster?
No agents, no Helm charts, no telemetry. Kubius talks to the Kubernetes API directly over TLS from your Mac; nothing about your clusters leaves your machine.
