Kubius · ConfigMaps

Read and edit ConfigMaps without the YAML

A ConfigMap is just key/value config - but reading it in YAML and knowing what uses it is a chore. Kubius lays out every key, shows which pods and workloads consume it, lets you edit and apply, and exports it when you need it elsewhere.

Works with Google GKE, Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, DigitalOcean, self-managed & more · macOS Sonoma (14) or later

Config you can actually work with

Every key, readable

See each key and its value laid out clearly, with long values expandable - no scrolling raw YAML to find one setting.

See what consumes it

A Consumers tab lists every pod and workload that mounts the ConfigMap as env vars or a volume, so you know the impact of a change.

Edit & diff

Edit the live YAML and apply, with a colour diff against last-applied so you see exactly what changes before it lands.

Export anywhere

Export the config to .env, CSV or XLSX for a migration, a review or a local run.

Find the right one

Filter ConfigMaps across namespaces or jump straight to one with the command palette.

Live and native

Changes show live, in a fast native app - no kubectl, no agents.

Questions, answered

Can I edit a ConfigMap in Kubius?

Yes - edit the live YAML and apply, viewing a colour diff against the last-applied configuration first so you can see exactly what will change.

Can I see what uses a ConfigMap before changing it?

Yes. The Consumers tab lists every pod and workload that references the ConfigMap as env vars or a mounted volume, so you understand the blast radius.

Can I export the values?

Yes - export to .env, CSV or XLSX. (Note that Secrets, unlike ConfigMaps, require a Touch ID check before their values are revealed or exported.)

Do I need kubectl?

No - Kubius reads and edits ConfigMaps through the Kubernetes API with your kubeconfig.
